Yep! I was too had a faulty 12v socket that needed a good clean up, then gave it a good clean and polish ready for our little trip :Yahoo: You mean the July meet ? Shady Time :P No sadly I'm away for that meet ;) No doubt the Exige will still make an appearance ;) :driving: Enjoy the big trip :Ok2:

Don't you have to get some sort of Cert. from Lotus ? I suppose bank transfer but you need to make sure its cleared obviously before you let it go. If paying cash :blink: I'd want it checked and banked before the car went. However paying in that sort of cash raises eye brows ;) Think there's plenty ...

Might be worth giving these a try ?
http://www.lancashiresportsrepairs.co.uk/ They normally do sports clothing etc. But do repair tents so could probably do it. I've had jackets etc. done over the years and rates are very reasonable with quality work. Worth a phone call perhaps ? :unsure:

Thanks guys :Friends: Dan - my old SC was the 2ZZ, so used to be able to rev to 9000 rpm IIRC - not that I did often but 8 was fun ;) Not had much chance no, its only got 205 miles on it now - 191 was bringing it back home. No idea power wise yet, but it does feel different obviously, time will tell...
