New Car. Not lotus

Post by cdco2 » Sun Mar 05, 2017 9:55 pm

The Elise has a new garage mate, decided to sell the clubman .. or the van as it became known. After an invite trackday back in 2015 ive bitten the bullet and bought a new JCW Mini .... 230bhp and 320Nm of torque.. as my daily hack.Ill post a couple of pics when its not chucking it down.

Here are the full pics, gone for a more discreet approach and deleted the JCW standard red roof and wing mirrors but did go for the recaro like semi buckets inside and most of the toys. The 8.8 inch media screen that will do nav and media info together is a particularly fun toy.

Its a quick thing thats for sure can wait to get 2k on the clock so i can try the launch system

It may also make me start doubting my view the elise doesnt need more power, not sure if thats a good thing ir not.

I know what you mean Dave, the fronts not the best resolved in places, in its defense though on the JCW its mostly air intakes for the intercooler, additional oil cooler and brakes ! Its bloody quick for a front wheel drive hatch though with no skimping on the interior toys and comfort.
