Huge thanks to all at Phoenix Motorsport

Post by wabbitkilla » Tue Apr 18, 2017 6:13 pm

When filling the car yesterday for my roadtrip to the Highlands of Scotland starting tomorrow I found i was losing coolant on my new (to me) 111S.
Calling Olie yesterday was a vain hope that he would answer and be able to help.

The guys really pulled out the stops today to fix the car and have me ready and running for my roadtrip with friends.
The leak was found to be a pinhole in the hardpipe feeding the heater matrix just next to the wiper motor.
We thought it might be the rad, then the heater matrix ... but it's amazing how much coolant can be lost through a pinhole.

Again, top guys, my heroes .... oh and not forgetting Brian for being waggy entertaining.

As per their standard Olllie and Pheonix have done great work, mine just been in two weeks ago firstly for a service and MOT and yesterday for the timing belt replacement - routine change

Car after the service felt 'refreshed' even though it had only done a few miles from its last service - I need to get out more, just on 24k miles after 13yrs from getting from new!!!!

Thanks Ollie
