Just once at Bedford, seemed a good place to start. Had an awesome time, but the insurance was mighty expensive!

no no noooo you dont want one of those you neeeed a 2bular! i have the 8x24 and the sound is just amazing!

i'll show you sometime at the cat and fiddle (when/if i ever get the dam thing back)

also with the insurance for trackdays you wanna go to henderson and taylor or someone like that because most of the time you get a much cheaper quote for the year plus you get 6 free trackdays a year :Ok2:

Or try REIS or CCI insurance companies etc etc . I'm sure there will be another NORLOG Trackday next year if Boothy pulls his finger out

Yep, will be looking into that next year I think.

Why do you rate the 2bular over the stage III out of interest?

When you renew your annual policy get your trackday cover included , many companies let you do up to 6 maybe more days included in the cover for a fraction of the cost of a one off day payment . No brainer really even if you only do a couple of days :D

haha yes for many of the reasons above to be honest :D

many reasons to be honest

better made
lighter
the stage 3 is VERY noisy and you probably wont get on trackdays
2bular is still louder than standard but not as bad and is very bearable at motorway speeds
gives a really nice rasp rather than just blurty noise
you can go for the GT3 option so it comes out of the back rather than under the car (this is lighter still)
and it should last forever but if it does'nt i think jim would happily fix it for free and in fact i think he gives it warrenty untill he can no longer pick up his welder

:D
there's a couple

this is his web site too

Welcome :D great piccie. :Headbanger:

I have a almost new Lotus stage 3 (covered only 3000 miles), i might be willing to part with, but as the others say it is nowt special I wanted a quieter one for track days so bought a H2 off Jim. The H2 is much much better than the Lotus stage 3. ;)
