Hi all...

Post by Brynmor » Sat Feb 18, 2012 7:41 pm

Just had the account activated so thought i'd introduce myself...

Not sure there's many of you from North Wales on here but I live just outside Mold, sold my early S1 in 2007 just before my little lad was born and now looking for an S2 as a daily driver :fantastic: which brings me onto, does anyone know of any dealers with S2's in North West around the 10-11k mark?

Hopefully if I can find one i'll join you on a day out sometime this year.

Cheers
Bryn

Hello!
Arguing with an engineer is a lot like wrestling with a pig in the mud; after a few hours you realise that he's enjoying it.

NwTony had his car for sale, slightly over budget, but high engine spec, might be worth a look in the classified to see if still available & have a chat. One word of warning though, be careful what you buy from the midlands, there is a trader who sells damaged cars & has mixed reputation . Be sure you know what your looking at. Pm me if you want the name.

Good news, MG has sold privately so will be a straight cash purchase now...although has anyone noticed you can't haggle like you used to when presenting cash??? hmmm

You prob have more chance of haggling when getting finance now, they will all be getting a kick back from the finance companys for selling you the finance option + the cost of the car so they may well be willing to knock abit off the car knowing they will make it back from there % from the finance co.

Dosnt help the customer thogh as then your stuck with the intrest, unless you can go home and pay the finance off stright away

It's an early ish lazer Blue in fairly good condition with a mountain of receipts etc for work done and sensible miles....must say fair play to the dealer though one of the longest test drives i've ever had and he was quite happy to open it up properly!! ;) :fantastic:
