Hi,
I'm Gary and new to the lotus owners club having just bought an Elise s2. I have a couple of jobs that need doing which, having read various forums, mean I need to book the car in a garage.

I have a major leak somewhere in the cooling system, I don't think it's HGF, but can't see any drips. The heater blower also only works on the 3rd setting so I think the resistors have gone.

Can anyone recommend a garage, I live in St. Helens. I want to get them whilst the weather is poor and the car ins for being used regularly.

Thanks for your help.

Hello and welcome from me.

I'm new here too so don't have much advise regards an Elise specialist.

I only know of Phoenix Motorsport, who are in Church near Accrington, Olly on here is the owner I believe.

Hope to see you at one of the monthly meetings in the near future.

Hi & Welcome to NORLOG

You have 2 'well known' choices for good garages, Chris Neils (now Oakmere Lotus) in Northwich - Lotus Dealer with a great reputation and is closest to you. Service manager Paul is well known by many in here and is a very helpful guy.

The other is Phoenix Motorsports, Accrington. Ollie is hugely respected in the Lotus world, many travel long distances to have him look after their cars. A true Lotus specialist and competitively priced.

Hope this helps and look forward to pics of the car :)
